Turn Your Eyes Upon Jesus, March 21, 2010
Paul McWilliams on Mar 23rd 2010
Have you ever found yourself dealing with a struggle in your life and you can’t find out why? I am a firm believer that many times when we find ourselves in that situation it is because we have taken our eyes off of Jesus. The Bible is filled with people who, at some point in their life, turned away from the Father or the Son and it cost them dearly. So the question for each of us is not if we will ever turn away, because I can guarantee we will, but what to do differently when it happens. When it happens we need to simply remember who we have been so richly blessed by, and return to our first love. We need to turn our eyes back to God and to Christ.

Once we have become comfortable showing love to our brothers, then we must begin to expand that love to include those most would call unlovable, [...]
